I began my journey in Speech and Language Pathology in 2008, after completing my Master’s in SLP and Bachelor’s in BASLP. Since then, I’ve dedicated my career to helping individuals of all ages communicate more effectively and confidently.
Born and raised in the UAE, I come from a family with experiences of fluency and neurodevelopmental conditions such as stuttering, cluttering, anxiety, cerebral palsy, and ADHD. Growing up in this environment gave me deep empathy and a personal understanding of the challenges individuals and families face — and it continues to inspire the way I connect, support, and tailor therapy for each client.
For the past nine years, I’ve been part of Dubai Community Health Centre, providing both school-based and clinic-based therapy, supporting children, adolescents, and adults in their communication journey.
Outside of work, I’m passionate about animal welfare. I actively volunteer with UAE rescue organizations, helping sick stray animals recover and find loving homes through adoption and fostering programs.
What makes my approach different:
This collaborative approach transforms therapy from a weekly appointment into a shared journey between therapist, child, and family, ensuring lasting success.
In addition to my formal qualifications, I have received ABA training to support children on the autism spectrum — an experience that enriches my therapeutic approach, though I am not a certified ABA practitioner.
As a Speech and Language Therapist, I believe therapy is most effective when it is transparent, consistent, and collaborative. Parents and caregivers play a vital role in the process, and I ensure they remain actively involved at every stage — whether sessions take place at school or in the clinic.
